Kate Hultgren

Trumpet

Kate Hultgren is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s of Music Education degree at the University of Regina where she is also studying trumpet with Dr. Matheus Moraes, Principal Trumpet of the Regina Symphony Orchestra. Kate also performs as a member of the University of Regina Wind Ensemble and Jazz I Band.

In addition to her studies, she also teaches private lessons and currently volunteers with the Sheldon-Williams Area Elementary Jazz Band under the direction of Sydney Brandt, where she works with grade 6-8 students and assists in conducting the ensemble.
