Cheney Lambert

Cheney Lambert is a trumpet player based in Regina, Saskatchewan, whose musical journey began with the Regina Lions Band. His first professional experience came with Stepchyle, a funk, soul, and R&B group, where he honed his craft under the mentorship of George Taylor and Kristopher Craig.

Today, Cheney performs with several ensembles including the Pile of Bones Brass Band and the Regina Jazz Orchestra. He also curates (almost monthly) jazz kissa DJ nights: intimate vinyl listening sessions which celebrate recorded jazz music. When he's not making music, Cheney is joyfully raising his three wonderful children.
