Brad Luna
Trumpet
Born and raised in Texas, Brad holds degrees in Trumpet Performance from Oklahoma State University (BM) and Carnegie Mellon University (MM). He has served on faculty in the Department of Music at Fairmont State University (West Virginia) and Grande Prairie Regional College (Alberta) and has presented masterclasses in Texas, Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, West Virginia, and Alberta. Brad is also an active adjudicator throughout northern Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia.
From 2018-2024, Brad was a co-founder and board member with the Peace Region Music Series, a chamber music recital series aimed at making live classical music accessible throughout northern Alberta. As a performer, Brad has appeared throughout North America including with orchestras in Lubbock (Texas), Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Houston, Florida, Pittsburgh, Wheeling (West Virginia), Dallas, Edmonton, Ottawa (National Arts Centre), and Regina. Brad and his wife, U of R Music Faculty Dr. Tina Alexander-Luna, and their three young children have happily settled into the Regina community since arriving in 2024.
